2. CAD and 3D models

Catalog PDFs give you the rating tables. For a design you usually need the geometry — that comes from the model drawing. Send the model code and the format you work in, and we return the files by email:

Start from the model database to find the exact code, or use the selector if you have not fixed one yet.

3. Non-standard parts

Standard catalog geometry covers most machines, but shaft ends often do not. We machine to drawing: stepped ends, keyways to GB/T 1095, retaining-ring grooves to GB/T 894, and custom nut flanges. Send the drawing with your enquiry and we confirm machinability, then issue a part drawing for approval before cutting metal.

Acceptance is against GB/T 17587.3 for ball screws and GB/T 1800 for fits and tolerances. If your drawing specifies ISO or JIS, we work to the drawing instead.

4. Frequently asked questions

Are the CAD and 3D files free?

Yes. 2D and 3D files for standard models come free with an enquiry or order. Send the model code and the format — STEP, IGES, DWG or SolidWorks — and we email the files.

Which 3D formats do you supply?

STEP and IGES as neutral defaults, plus native SolidWorks and 2D DWG or DXF on request.

How large is the full catalog?

The MOSIONX 2026 catalog is about 15 MB. The shorter references are 30–55 KB each.

Can I get drawings for a non-standard screw?

Yes. Send the drawing or the shaft-end dimensions. We produce the manufactured-part drawing for your approval before machining.
